Henry V of England, renowned for his military prowess, led significant campaigns in France during the Hundred Years' War, notably winning the Battle of Agincourt in 1415.

His reign also saw the Treaty of Troyes (1420), which recognised him as heir to the French throne. Despite his legacy as a chivalrous leader, Henry's methods, including harsh wartime decisions, reveal a pragmatic and ruthless side. His early death from dysentery in 1422 left his infant son, Henry VI, to inherit a fragile dual monarchy.
