Why I recommend the Alexander the Great Silver Drachm…

Undefeated in battle, Alexander the Great is one of history’s most successful military leaders. By the age of 30 he had built an empire stretching from Greece to north-west India.

His coinage was key to the expansion of his empire, but surely owning such coins – issued Before Christ – is out of our reach? Whilst coins issued during his life sell for small fortunes, this posthumously issued Silver Drachm is relatively affordable.

The Drachm was issued for 250 years after Alexander’s death and was part of one of history’s most fascinating periods. You’ll be doing well to find a coin as rich in history as this.
