Crafted from .925 Sterling silver to the collector’s Proof finish, the Prince William 40th Birthday £5 features a designed dedicated to our future King in honour of this milestone birthday.
Each coin has been minted from specially polished sliver blanks, which when struck by the dies, give the coin a beautiful mirror-frosted finish that collector’s desire.
The regal design by Quentin Peacock takes inspiration from the King William IV crown, with the main feature, the Crowned Mantle, sat proudly on the reverse. In the central space of the coin is a wreath with Prince William’s age, marking this moment in time.
This is one of the most limited pieces issued for the Duke of Cambridge – with only 495 pieces available for collectors nationally. Whilst this already seems like a small number, it’s unlikely to be enough for the demand expected. The UK version issued this year had an edition limit of 3,500, making this coin, by comparison, incredibly limited.
We have just 100 available for CPM Clients, so you’ll need to act quickly to secure one for your collection. Please click ‘Buy Now’ before it’s too late.
