The South African Mint have just released their 2023 1/4oz Gold Proof Krugerrand.
Originally created in the 1960s as the world’s first bullion coin, it provided a way of privately owning gold – in fact it went on to inspire the striking of other flagship coins, including the UK’s Britannia.
CPM Prestige has not been able to offer these to customers since 2018 due to the difficulties in bringing them to the UK, but this year we have a small number available.
